From my years of experience working for Middle Eastern communities, I can dance to all types of Arabic music, perform styles from different areas, and meet any costuming requests.  I can make your show completely classic, totally modern, or a beautiful blend of it all, and I can include elements like assaya/stick, shamadan/candelabra, sagat/finger cymbals, sword, wings, LED effects, and more. 

Years of performing for many other diverse audiences also means I can add extra flavour in music, styling, and other traditions as well.  If you have special songs or elements from your culture that you’d like me to include, let me know and I can put them in the mix.

MY SHOW SERVICES

PARTIES, EVENTS AND CELEBRATIONS – I cover just about any kind of party event you can think of, from small gatherings to big crowds.  Everything is customized so let me know if you want to match a theme, arrange a surprise, celebrate a guest of honour – we’ll work together to make it happen. 

RESTAURANTS, NIGHTCLUBS, LOUNGES AND EVENT SPACES – I provide weekly entertainment as well as special event shows for Middle Eastern businesses, dancing with live musicians or providing my own music sets.  Tell me about who your clientele is, what the vibe of your place is, and how your space is set up, and I’ll bring an exciting show that your customers will love.

WEDDINGS AND ZAFFAHS – I truly love these very special events and work with couples personally to bring fun to the planning stage as well as the wedding day itself.  I can costume to your colour theme, dance your favourite songs, include your family’s requests, lead you in on your zaffah – whatever you wish for your big day.  I also handle arrangement details with wedding planners, DJs, musicians, and venue managers, so you’re well taken care of.

SHOW + LESSON FOR GROUPS – I offer a super fun show + lesson package for group parties like bridal showers, ladies’ nights, birthday surprises, etc.  Kicking it off with a mini performance in costume, I lead you through a fun lesson with sparkly scarves for you to wear on your hips, then cap it off with all of us dancing to great music and taking photos together – lots of laughs guaranteed!

Please read this checklist before completing the request form:

STAGE AREA – I’ll need a level surface of minimum 10×10 feet / 3×3 metres that’s safe to dance on barefoot.

DRESSING AREA – Before and after the show I’ll need a private and safe area for costume changing and storage of my belongings – it doesn’t have to be fancy, but it must be more secure than a public washroom.

MUSIC / SOUND SYSTEM – Your sound system needs to be powerful enough to fill the room overtop of conversation, and someone will need to operate it – I’ll provide my music in the appropriate format.

PERSONAL SAFETY – I may bring an assistant with me and will let you know in advance if I do. If my safety or that of my belongings is ever in question, I’ll end my show immediately and collect the full balance.  I do not accept any bookings for all-male events.

DELAYS / CANCELATIONS – I can accommodate short delays within reason, but I charge a fee for every 30 minutes of wait time and for last-minute cancelations of less than 24 hours’ notice.

BOOKING AGREEMENT – once we’ve finalized your show details, I’ll email you an agreement for your confirmation and signature – your booking is secured once I’ve received your signed agreement and paid deposit.

DEPOSIT / BALANCE PAYMENT – The deposit secures your show date and time, is 25-30% of the total (to the nearest round number) and is payable by cash or e-transfer. The balance is payable by cash and due on the day of the show.
